I have been invited to present a talk on Pearls at the Salvation Army ladies Group on Thursday 15th November.  It will be in Grafton and I am looking forward to it.

I will explain the different types of pearls that are available and show a piece that I have made using each type of pearl.

There will also be lots of different pieces for the Ladies to buy for Christmas Presents.

It should be a fun morning.

I have just spent the day maning the desk at Ferry Park Gallery on the Pacific Highway at the Maclean turnoff in the Northern Rivers of NSW.  The Gallery is the outlet where members of the Lower Clarence Arts & Craft Association can display and sell their goods. 

It is a fun day where I catch up with local Artists, where we trade stories, find out what is going on in the area and far afield and make new friends.

Hi All,

Once again the QUOTA Craft Fair in Yamba was a huge success. Many different crafts to choose from and lots of customers through the door of The Yamba Bowling Club on the October long weekend.

As well as my usual Market outings to The Art & Craft Markets on the Gold Coast at Broad Beach, Coolangatta and sometimes Burleigh and Bellingen Markets, I will be at the Jacaranda TAFE Market in Grafton on Saturday 3rd November.  This is a great market that runs as part of the week long Annual Grafton Jacaranda Festival.  You have to come to Grafton, if only to see the HUGE Jacaranda trees in bloom. They are a magnificant sight.  I sometimes drive the 63km from my home in Yamba in the latter weeks of October, jut to see and photograph the magnificant trees. Something to add to your Bucket List!!

The TAFE Market is held in the grounds of the Grafton Campus of the North Coast Institute of TAFE in Clarence Street.  As you come over the Grafton Bridge look to your right and you will see the Market.  Find a park and come and see me.  I will be at Site #21, in Section "E'.  This sounds very official, but it is easy to navigate this market. I am along the side fence off Craig Street. Have a look  around the market and you will find me.

The Market is open from 8am to 2pm.

After a huge weekend at the Alstonville Quota Craft Fair, I am busy replenishing my stock and making new pieces for the Yamba - Lower Clarence 9th Annual Art & Craft Fair.

It will be held at the Yamba Bowling Club over the October Long Weekend - Sat 29th and Sunday 30th September. 1st October is the Public Holiday.  The days will commence at 9am and finish at 4pm on Sat and 2pm on Sunday - the Rudge League Football Grand Final means that we have to vacate the Bowling Club Auditorium early.

Come and see me and the other Art & Crafts on display and for sale.  If you need to match your pearls, eg need earring for a necklace, bring the piece along and I may be able to help you.  Also, if you need your pearls restrung bring them with you and I can give you an estimate of cost.  I can't do this if you don't have your pearls with you.

My next Festival will be the Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Festival Markets on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th March 2012. This market is held every two years at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre.

This is one of the best Food and Craft Markets you will see. The range of Food and Wine is amazing.

There are lots of very tallented Craft people showing their wares. 

Call in and say hello and have a look at some of my new designs.

Come and see me at the Jacaranda Markets on Saturday 5th November.  These Markets are held in the TAFE Grounds in Grafton, Northern NSW.  You are missing a treat if you have never seen the Jacarandas in Bloom.  One of the most spectacular sights you will see.  I have just taken my Irish cousins through Grafton, on their way to Coffs Harbour to catch a plane, just to see the Jacaranda in Bloom and they were most impressed.

It will be a great market, as usual. See you there. I am at Site 21 in section "E" of the Markets.

I will be at the Port Macquarie Race Course Craft Expo from 18th to 20th November.  Treat yourself to a day out and come and see the wide selection of Arts & Craft on offer, as well as enjoying a Day (weekend) at the Races.   It will be a great weekend.
